Rising Up! Manchester Families are joining People’s History Museum for a day of creative disobedience. Get creative with PHM’s The Fabric of Protest textile artist Helen Mather and make a fabric protest piece as part of a campaign.
There are loads of other activities including making a stop motion animation protest film, a seed bomb, playful protest with hula-ing and chalk drawing. Manchester Museum are bringing endangered amphibians, Lancashire Wildlife are sharing tips on making back gardens wildlife friendly and the Royal Horticulture Society have info and advice.
There will be relaxed opening (11.00am – 12.00pm) and closing hours (3.00pm – 4.00pm) ensuring anyone with sensory sensitivities will be able to enjoy the activities at a quieter, less busy time
